A very special family home, the “Heatherbrae” will house the 5th generation of the family to holiday on this land.  The design and planning process took place whilst the family resided in Torres Strait in Far North Queensland, and the construction was carried out whilst they were living in Darwin.  Despite this, the outcome couldn’t have been better for the owners.

This attic style home oozes luxury and quality – from the coffered, 3m high ceilings upstairs, to the solid timber flooring and Marble Basket Weave tiles to the wet areas. Bespoke features and fittings selected by the owners include a Provincial style kitchen complete with Lacanche oven and pressed metal splashback and a lavishly appointed ensuite including a walk-in shower and stylish bath.

The balcony takes in glimpses of the bay, and French doors with Colonial bars and highlight windows open onto the downstairs deck.  And an external shower is a ‘must have’ for a beach-loving family!

“Despite difficult timeframes and distance to the build site we could not be more pleased with our finished home.”
