About Us

About Us

Farm Houses of Australia are a specialised, boutique custom design and construction company located on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. We pride ourselves on providing a highly personalised service, where our focus isn’t simply on the end result — it’s on the entire design and building journey.

Just like our individually designed, award winning homes, our business has its roots in old-style quality, honest values and attention to detail. Our highly talented and experienced design team will work with you to create your personalised custom design — ensuring every detail is perfect before progressing onto the construction stage.

Aware he was destined for the building life from an early age, owner and Farm Houses of Australia builder Doug completed his apprenticeship in 1991. Quickly establishing himself as a quality builder, he was running his own successful business by the age of 21.

Thriving on the challenges of building homes far from the mainstream, he’s built a business focused on bringing dream homes to life. Working closely with each client, he prides himself on creating homes that reflect the unique and personal visions of their owners. Recognising what a privilege it is to be part of this journey, his ultimate aim is to produce a spectacular result, every time.

That’s why Doug and the rest of the team at Farm Houses of Australia are committed to providing the highest possible level of service to each and every client. Their dedication and commitment are such that each client feels as if they’re the only one, ensuring the design and construction process is an experience they can look back on with pleasure.

If you’re interested in designing and building a unique, completely customised home with an exceptionally talented team of designers and builder, look no further than Farm Houses of Australia. We’ll deliver precisely what we’ve promised, stand by our word, and offer an exciting and enjoyable building experience.
